There are two different distances in this event, the Sprint distance and the Olympic distance.

Note: the app doesn’t measure the beach accurately but this run will be measured to exactly 10km on the day.

OLYMPIC DISTANCE

Note: this is a two lap swim with an Aussie style exit after the first lap.

When does the race take place?

Saturday June the 14th. The Olympic starts at 2pm while the sprint starts at 2.30pm.

Is there a limit on numbers?

200 for each distance.

When does registration close?

When we reach the above numbers.

What time and where is number pickup?

At the Ballinskelligs GAA grounds from 11am-1pm on the day.

Do I need a Triathlon Ireland license?

Yes you need either a full TI license or a One day License. These can only be purchased through the TI website.

What are the race cutoff times?

Sprint – Swim: 2.35pm, Cycle: 3.45pm, Run: 4.30pm.
Olympic – Swim: 3.30pm, Cycle: 5.30pm, Run: 6.30pm.

Are the routes signposted/marshalled?

Yes all routes are signposted with marshalls on the main junctions. Route maps are available on the website.

Are there prizes on the day?

Yes for the top 3 male and female in each race.
