Hardman Gap of Dunloe Half Marathon & 10K

This is your chance to run Ireland’s most challenging half marathon and 10K through the legendary Gap of Dunloe. With breathtaking views of Killarney’s most stunning scenery around every bend, you will hardly notice the hills. Keep in mind that what goes up must also come down.

When does the race take place?
Sunday the 16th of February. The half marathon starts at 9am with the 10k starting at 9.10am.
Is there a limit on numbers?
350 in each distance
When does registration close?
Friday the 14th of February unless it has sold out previously.
What time and where is number pickup?
Saturday the 15th from 4 to 6pm at the Portwest store, 94 New Street, Killarney. On Sunday morning the 16th from 7am to 8.30am at Kate Kearney’s Cottage.
What are the race cutoff times?
3 hours(12pm) for the half.
2 hours(11am) for the 10k.
Are the routes signposted/marshalled?
Yes there are signs all the way along and marshalls on the main junctions. Maps are available on the route page on the site.
Are there water stops?
Yes. There are more than enough water stops, these will be detailed on the pre-race briefing.
Are there prizes on the day?
Yes, for the top three male and females at each distance.
